Stpe 1. Raw Material Collection
The raw materials of sawdust, wood shavings, and wood blocks are transported to the factory by vehicles that are covered with felt cloth, and then the raw materials are unloaded in the raw material warehouse.

Step 2. Vibrating Screening
The raw materials are transported to the conical screen by the belt conveyor for screening. The raw materials’ moisture content is high, generally 35%-45%. The closed conical screen is used, and basically, no dust is generated during the vibrating screen process.

Step 3. Drying
The moisture content of the raw material of the biomass briquette-making project is about 35%-45%. The combustion flue gas is introduced into the dryer through the fan to directly contact the material to dry them. Use biomass particles to burn and heat the furnace cavity, and ignite the heat generated by the combustion of briquette-making waste gas and carbonized waste gas, the original moisture of the raw material is reduced to 10% after drying so that the subsequent carbonization ignition point is unified.

Step 4. Briquette-making
The dried raw materials are conveyed evenly by the closed screw feeder and sent to the screw briquette-making machine. Strong friction is generated among the material, rollers, and die in the machine cavity, and a large amount of heat is generated (the moisture loss is generally 3-5%) to soften the fiber and extrude it into a viscous shape according to the required specifications. The temperature of this process is 250℃~280℃, producing certain noise and smoke.
